AG Trinex is an indigenous, wholly Nigerian owned enterprise that is focused on delivering value-adding supply chain and logistics solutions in the downstream supply and trading sector.

We are a fast-growing, niche commodity trader with a focus on facilitating the flow of physical petroleum commodities across our selected markets. Our business includes trading in bulk cargoes of Crude oil, Natural Gas Liquids, Condensates and finished or intermediate petroleum products

Our team is proficient in developing and executing strategies for the supply and distribution of petroleum and refined products to a wide range of customers in Africa and in Europe

Our subsidiaries include Ashburnham Limited, operators of the petroleum retail interests and RAK Energy Limited, operator of our bulk LPG facilities

Retailing

Over the last 18 months, we have been rolling out our first 15 chain of petroleum retail outlets in Nigeria under the Ash brand.

The primary drivers for the retail business are service excellence and the deployment of Information technology to deliver best in class quality experience to our customers.

Terminalling

We recognize the importance of strategic assets as a means for sustaining access to local market.

To drive the shore-based storage business, we manage medium-term leases, are looking to acquire existing assets, while also engaging with relevant government agencies for licenses to develop greenfield projects

Structured Trades

We are strategic in our approach to trading petroleum commodities. We actively seek out and exploit niche opportunities with the right-fit for our business.

Our deals are typically structured trades where we seek to optimize both physical positions as well as underlying derivative instruments. We are building valuable relationships with National Oil Companies, Producers and Refiners.

Faisal Abubakar

He is a Director in several Companies including A G Trinex. As a founder and co-Founder of these companies, he has built a portfolio of various projects across Nigeria including; construction of Nyer Dam project in Plateau South, Upper Benue River Basin Rehabilitation Adamawa Yola, and consultancy Projects for Atlas Petroleum which owns several oil blocks in Africa, as well as brokerage services for Taleveras, among many others. He hold a Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Buckingham University United Kingdom

Lekan Abiola

Afeez has a decade of valuable experience spanning Sales and Marketing, Logistics and Distribution, Terminal operations, Project Management, Trade Operations, Business Development and Oil product trading. He has attended trainings in petroleum trading and refining across Europe including London and Amsterdam. He holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Ilorin and MBA from University of South Wales.

Vincent Agu

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan and a Master’s degree from Heriot Watt . He has over 9 years’ experience in the West African Downstream Trading sector. His area of proficiency is trading Crude Oil, Natural Gas Liquids and Fuel Oils using an extensive network that spans Europe, Arabian Gulf and the Far East. He is also quite experienced in Risk Management, Business Development and Trade Operations.
